Mobile Phones
The results of the research “Children’s safety and habits on the use of mobile phones”, realised by PROTEGELES and published by the Spanish Child Ombudsman, highlighted the need to work on the same way with mobile phones, as a problem of safety for children was arousing.
For this purpose, during the 2006-2007 academic year, PROTEGELES, TELEFÓNICA and the SPANISH INDUSTRY, SCIENCES AND TECCHNOLOGY MINISTRY (Ministerio de Industria, Ciencia y Tecnología), have started a programme of conferences that will focus on the problems that may arise with the use of mobile phones. For this first round, around 130 schools benefited both from the conferences and the educative materials that will be distributed: the CONÉCTATE magazine and a CD.
