Cyberfamilies

captura de la páginaPROTEGELES work in all the environments in which minors have contact with the new technologies, developing campaigns aimed at the school environment, Internet centres and, finally, families as well.

In order to tackle the so-called “digital-gap” and offer parents information and training, PROTEGELES gives conferences in schools to Parents-Teachers Associations.  More specifically, it has created a Helpline in collaboration with the Madrid Institute for Children and Families (INSTITUTO MADRILEÑO DEL MENOR Y LA FAMILIA), Spanish Association of Parents Users of Internet (ASOCIACION ESPAÑOLA DE MADRES Y PADRES INTERNAUTAS), FUNDARCO and OPTENET at www.ciberfamilias.com

On this new website, parents and teachers can find not just information about children’s Internet safety, the Spanish legislation, cybercrime, content-control software, etc but also lots of links to other interesting pages.  They can also join our moderated forum where they can exchange information and talk about their doubts with other parents.
